Metra 82-3005 Speaker Adapter GM Truck/Chevy Malibu 6-6.75 Inch 14-Up

Needed something to bridge the gap between my 6.5s and the factory opening in the Silverado, and these fit the front doors perfectly. The pair covers both sides, which saved me from buying two separate kits, and I had them mounted in under an hour with basic hand tools.

The adapter plates slid right into my Silverado's front doors without any cutting, which was a relief after dealing with flimsy plastic brackets before. They hold the 6.75-inch speakers snugly and the pair worked perfectly for both sides.

My last truck speakers were a pain to fit, but these plates made it a straightforward swap. The 6.75-inch opening sat perfectly in the factory spot, and getting two in the box meant I didn’t have to order a second pair.
