Metra 40-VW12 European Antenna Adapter

Aftermarket head unit, factory VW antenna, zero signal drop. Plugged straight in, no adapters or soldering needed, and the fit was exact so I didn't have to hack anything apart. Solid little piece for an annoying install.

Finally found the right connector to bridge my factory VW antenna to the new head unit, and the fit was spot-on for the European socket. Took maybe five minutes to install and the radio reception came through clean with no adapters rattling loose.

This tiny adapter solved my stereo upgrade perfectly. The connector clicked into my VW’s factory antenna port without any wiggling or adapters needed—such a clean fit.
